Description:

RUTESIL  137 is a transparent colorless or slightly yellow liquid, readily soluble in water. The active ingredient is potassium methylsiliconate (CAS No. 31795-24-1).

• density at a temperature of  (20 ± 0.5)  °C of about  1.4 g / cm.

Application:

It is used as a modifying additive to building materials (concrete, plaster). It is used for hydrophobizing treatment of porous materials, surfaces made of bricks, marble, tuff, concrete, asbestos cement, tiles, plaster products and other materials of this type.   Fluid treatment:

• gives the material excellent water-repellent properties (reduction of water absorption up to 25 times);

• prevents the emergence of "build up";

• increases the strength of the material;

• gives the material frost and corrosion resistance, lightfastness, prevents surface contamination;

• does not change the appearance of the material, keeps gas and air permeability;

• increases the thermal insulation properties of the surface;

• increases the service life of buildings and structures;

• prevents the growth of microorganisms and lichens on the surface of the material.
